Global Tamil Forum (GTF) is a congregation of Tamil Diaspora organisations liaising with each other in response to the recent tragic events faced by the Eelam Tamil community.
GTF hopes to achieve its Vision and Mission through programmes and projects. The focus will be on offering humanitarian help for Tamil victims and fighting for their human rights.

Members of Global Tamil Forum had their first face-to-face meeting in Paris in Sep 2009 to draw up the Constitution. The Inaugural General Meeting of Global Tamil Forum will be held in early 2010.
Yes. If your country is already represented in the Global Tamil Forum, then you can work with that organization or fulfill membership requirements that are outlines in the Constitution. See Constitutional Summary under About GTF tab for further details.
The immediate, short term and mid term priorities are not necessarily in the political arena. Our political goals are reflected in the organisation’s vision.

Based on 2009-2010 Board of Directors' decision, membership fee for a Country Organisation/Founding Member is 1000 USD and 75 USD for Individual General Members. Please refer to Constitutional Summary in About GTF tab for further info.

Yes. Your family can become Individual Direct Members of Global Tamil Forum. Individual General Membership are for those who reside in countries that does NOT have country organization.

Global Tamil Forum's constitution allows participation from all the countries where Tamils live.
Individuals who reside in countries which have Country Organizations/Founding Members can participate via the respective country organization.
Individuals who reside in countries which do NOT have a Country Organization/ Founding Members, can become Individual General Members of Global Tamil Forum.
