The Global Tamil Women Forum (GTWF) was formally launched at the Inaugural Session of The Global Tamil Forum in London on Feb 24, 2010. As part of their activities, in United Kingdom, GTWF joined thousands of women, of all ages and backgrounds, in a march organised by Million Women Rise on Saturday 6 March 2010 through central London, to celebrate and honour women’s activism,courage and continued struggle against global male violence in all its forms. Any of the two main candidates winning winning the Presidential elections, will not make any difference to the Tamils. They have to face the situation as it develops in a way they have been doing up to now. If they vote for Bahu in significant numbers, it may help them in facing the situation as it develops.
