Founding Members
There will be one Founding Member per country according to the current GTF constitution. A Country organization with the largest membership of fee paying members on Dec 31 of each year would become the Founding Member for that country. Founding Members would participate in decision making in GTF matters.
General Members
1. In countries with Founding Members:
If an individual is a member of a country organization/Founding Member, he or she is automatically a member of Global Tamil Forum.
For example, If you are in Canada, by becoming a member of Canadian Tamil Congress you can become a Global Tamil Forum member.
2. In countries without country organization/Founding Member:
Individual General Membership is available.
For example,
In Dubai, where there are no country organizations at present, an individual can become an General Member. Furthermore, if the individual General Membership numbers exceeds 5000, a Director can be elected thus enabling decision making in GTF matters.
