Commonwealth Heads of Government Must Call for Justice in Sri Lanka
WE HOPE THAT YOU WILL SPARE A FEW MOMENTS TO SEND A LETTER OR SIGN A PETITION IN SUPPORT OF OUR CAMPAIGN FOR JUSTICE IN SRI LANKA.
Every two years, the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) is held. This year these global leaders will meet in Perth, Australia on October 28th – 30th 2011, at a gathering which provides us and you with a unique opportunity to rally for truth, justice and accountability in Sri Lanka.
YOU CAN HELP put pressure on the Sri Lankan government to bring about true justice for victims of the Sri Lankan civil war, BY SENDING LETTERS TO YOUR HEAD OF GOVERNMENT AND THE COMMONWEALTH SECRETARY-GENERAL advising them of your concerns regarding Sri Lanka’s recent human rights record.
